WASHINGTON: The global pandemic coronavirus has killed 803,201 people worldwide and infected 23,120,216, while more than 15,713,254 patients have been cured.
The United States tops with nearly 5,796,727 cases and more than 172,606 deaths followed by Brazil with over 3,317,832 cases and more than 107,297 deaths. India has reported 2,589,208 cases while 50,084 deaths due to the coronavirus. The country has the third-highest number of recorded infections in the world.
Over 917,884 people have infected while 15,617 people died of the virus in Russia. South Africa has become one of the top five worst-hit countries in the coronavirus pandemic as the country reported over 583,653 infections. The country reported 11,677 deaths.
Mexico has reported 56,543 deaths and 517,714 cases. Peru has reported 516,296 cases while 25,856 deaths.
Colombia ha reported 456,689 cases while 14,810 death. In Chile, nearly 383,902 cases were confirmed, including more than 10,395 deaths.
