WASHINGTON: The number of coronavirus cases worldwide has risen to more than 20 million, with 733,995 people killed.
The number of coronavirus infection cases across the world has surged to 20,025,950 and the pandemic has so far claimed 734,018 lives. The number of people infected with a coronavirus in the United States has risen to 5,199,444 and the total number of deaths has reached 165,617.
In Brazil, more than 3,035,582 people are infected with the coronavirus and more than 101,136 have died. India is the third-largest country affected by the coronavirus, with more than 2,215,074 million cases and 44,466 deaths.
In Russia, 887,583 people have been affected by the virus, bringing the total death toll to 14,931. The death toll from coronavirus in South Africa has risen to more than 10,400, with 559,859 people affected.
