WASHINGTON: US Senator Marco Rubio has said that allowing a no-fly zone in Ukraine would trigger World War III and people need to understand what a no-fly zone is.
In a statement, US Senator Marco Rubio said that Russia’s imposition of a no-fly zone over Ukraine during the conflict could spark a third world war. “What is a no-fly zone? People need to understand that,” he maintained.
In a statement, the US Senator added, “This is not a code that you have to pass, everyone has to respect it.” The no-fly zone actually means the power to shoot down Russian planes attacking Ukraine.

The US senator said that continuing to import oil from Russia means providing funds for the war against Ukraine. “If a no-fly zone is allowed in Ukraine, the downing of Russian planes could lead to a third world war,” he said.
On the other hand, Russia’s alleged military operation against Ukraine is ongoing. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelinsky said that we will pursue the soldiers involved in war crimes to the grave. “Russia must be held accountable for deliberately killing civilians,” he asserted.
