ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has said that working with the Sindh government to complete the Karachi Circular Railway project.
While addressing a media conference in Lahore today, the railway minister said that there were so many hurdles in the circular railway project but working with the Sindh government to complete it.
“We can meet the deficit of railways if we sell even one building in Karachi,” he said.
However, upon being asked over opposition party lead Shehbaz Sharif’s arrival in Pakistan, he responded that Shehbaz Sharif would arrive in the country next month.
Highlighting the statement of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief, the railway minister said that he did not support the proceedings against Maulana Fazlur Rehman under Article 6 of the constitution.
On Friday, the prime minister said that Fazlur Rehman should be tried for high treason under Article 6 of the constitution.
Talking to journalists in Islamabad, Khan further said that an inquiry should be set up against him on his remarks and he should be asked who gave him that understanding.
