PM Imran Khan was addressing a  public rally in Mansehra. Source: Facebook.

MANSEHRA: Prime Minister Imran Khan once again took jibe of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, saying that he tells himself before every public rally not to use the word “diesel” for Fazl, but as soon as he stands atop the stage to start the rally, the word “diesel” starts reverberating in the environment, compelling him to use the term.

While addressing a  public rally in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the prime minister said that he was a person who was the superstar of the cricket world and had traveled the entire world. Adding that he wanted to teach the youngsters what is the right path through his experience.

Khan said that he refers to Allah and Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his speeches not to garner support from people but because he truly believes in Islamic teachings.

Accusing the Opposition of being involved in horse-trading of MNA’s, the premier said that the joint Opposition offered MNA Saleh Muhammad Rs200-250 million to vote against him.

The premier said: “Youngsters, there are always two paths; one is the right and the other is the wrong path. The former is a difficult route and latter the route that was followed by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).”

He further added the aim of the Opposition to bring a no-confidence motion is only to blackmail the ruling government for National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) “but it will never be given to them.”

He said: “We struggled for the passage of a resolution in the United Nations to observe March 15 every year as a day against Islamophobia.”

PM Imran Khan said the UN has decided that no one will be allowed to hurt the feelings of Muslims in the name of freedom of expression. Pakistan will certainly flourish by following the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and maintaining justice, equality, and rule of law in society, he asserted.

Imran Khan once again took direct jibes at opposition and termed Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Shehbaz Sharif, and Bilawal Bhutto, “the three mice” who are planning to capture him. “Three rats wanted to hunt him down but he will defeat them as they want Imran Khan to give them NRO somehow but I will not give them NRO like General (R) Musharraf.” He said.

He said that people like PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif- whose peons have their millions in bank accounts- are unfit to do politics in civilized countries adding that even if Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif start politics in the UK, the UK will be left bankrupt in the a short time.

He expressed that the opposition parties are good for nothing and have only united against him for he wants to hold them accountable for their corruption.

About Maulana Fazlur Rehman, he said that he tries not to call him ‘diesel’ but people start chanting ‘diesel diesel’ slogans whenever he speaks to a public rally. The PM asked the crowd, why the JUI-F chief, “who has done politics in the name of Islam”, never did anything against Islamophobia like the PTI government led by him did recently.

He also urged the youth to guard themselves against the corrupt elements who are busy in bids in Islamabad to buy the conscience of the elected representatives, adding that these corrupt elements cannot buy sincere leaders.

He said on the “coffin” of three stooges’ politics, the people would build a New Pakistan with reformed systems transforming the country into a great nation.

“Come out for sake of youth, your children, and next generations. Come out to tell the three stooges that the whole nation stood by truth,” he told the charged gathering holding flags of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

PM Imran went on to say that his government-provided health cards of Rs 1 million to each family and under health insurance one can get treatment from any hospital. He said the PTI government has given Rs 14,000 to 20 million families and 30 percent subsidy on ghee, flour and sugar to 20 million families, while Rs 2 million interest-free loans were also being given to 2 million families to build houses.
