Woman, son killed in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: A woman and her five-year-old son were found dead at their house in Dijkot area of Faisalabad on Sunday.

According to sources, some unidentified men entered the house and killed the woman and her five-year-old son with a sharp-edged knife.

It further said that the deceased’s seven-year-old daughter severely injured and was shifted to hospital for treatment.

After being informed, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have collected the evidence from the spot.

The police further said, “The attacker slit their throats with a knife.”The police suspected the woman’s husband and arrested him also. The case of the incident has been registered.

Further probe into the incident is underway and the culprits will be arrested soon, said police.
