ISLAMABAD: Heirs of a woman killed by in-laws within the limits of Koral police station, have demanded justice and postmortem of the deceased.
In an exclusive interview with MM News, the victim’s sister Rashida Bibi said that her sister was a mother of two children. Every day, her in-laws used to harass and torture her sister, Rashida said.
Rashida Bibi said that on April 4, her sister’s in-laws beat her as a result she lost her life while they were informed that her sister had passed away. However, the woman who bathed the deceased said that there were signs of torture on the body and one of her arms was also broken.
“When I found out that my sister’s death was due to violence, I immediately approached the DC Islamabad and requested for an autopsy,” said, the victim’s sister. DC Islamabad Hamza Shafqat took immediate notice of the request and sought a report from Assistant Commissioner, she said.
Rashida Bibi said that DC Islamabad has assured them of cooperation in the case; however, the victim’s sister demanded to arrest the killers of the woman immediately and a case should be registered against them.
