LAHORE: A girl, who works in Lahore’s Anti-Riot Police Force, was allegedly gang-raped by two security guards on Friday near Nishtar Sports Complex, several media outlets reported.
According to the first information report (FIR) registered at the Gulberg Police Station, the girl forgot her way back after watching a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match. As she entered a deserted and dark street, she saw two guards.
As per the complaint, she sought the help of guards for reaching Ferozpur Road. However, the suspects misguided her and allegedly sexually assaulted her as she reached a deserted place.
The police have registered the FIR on the victim’s father complaint and are investigating the matter further. Meanwhile, a private media outlet reported that the city police have arrest one suspect, identified as Shahid.
Earlier this month, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two of her neighbours in Lahore’s Mozang area.
According to details, the victim was alone at her residence when her neighbours Ehsan Ali and Hassan allegedly barged into the house, subjected her to severe torture and then sexually assaulted her.
