Female drug peddler arrested in Karachi

KARACHI: Police on Friday conducted an operation and arrested a drug-peddling woman in Karachi.

The Sukhan police station conducted a raid after receiving a tipoff in Rehri Goth and took the woman identified as Sharifa alias Aalia was taken into custody. Police also recovered two kilograms of hashish from her possession.

Police said that woman was a habitual criminal and was involved in supplying narcotics through a racket comprising women in various parts of the city, She has been jailed several times in different cases.

A case has been registered against the woman while she is being interrogated to know further details of her criminal activities and to arrest her accomplices involved in drug smuggling.
