ISLAMABAD: Wishah Abubakr, wife of late Nawab Akbar Bugti’s youngest son Shahzawar Bugti, has alleged that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) cybercrime has refused to arrest her husband, claiming that her life is under threat.
Wishah Abubakr has claimed that Shahzawar Bugti, the grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti, has subjected her to domestic violence and torture, as well as alleging that he committed blasphemy.
In the latest video uploaded on Twitter, the woman said, “Save me from my husband Shahzawar Bugti before I become the next Noor Mukadam.” According to her, FIA cybercrime has been bribed by her husband who is threatening to leak her photos.
FIA CYBER CRIME #ArrestShahzawar – why are you not arresting him. Is he above the law Bcz he is man and im woman. I gave you evidence of target killer who was paid by shahzawar. I gave you evidence of him sending my explicit pictures. Do u want my dead body to arrest him? pic.twitter.com/d7ztKvDzU3

“He should’ve been declared absconder by now. Such privileges are only for strong men in Pakistan and not for a strong woman who stands for her right,” she said in the video.
“In last three days, three different hashtags have emerged of three different girls,” Wishah says in her video message. “I think if FIA director Babar Bakht does not take my issue seriously and does not arrest Shahzawar, soon my hashtag will also come up. He has sent a target killer after me earlier and he will kill me the same way as Noor,” she claimed.
Her lawyer Hassaan Niazi reported that Wishah’s life is in danger. Moreover, he said that he has told FIA directors “personally that they will get her killed if they find out where she is”.
Wishah’s pleas for protection appeared in a video earlier this year. “I am the wife of Shehzwar Bugti, the youngest grandson of Nawab Akbar Bugti. My education is not complete and I went underground some time ago to save my life,” she said.
The woman alleged that her husband had supposedly hired a man to stalk her some time ago, further claiming that this mysterious man would try to kill her if she was found out.
“I was forced to separate from my daughter, to hide because my husband knew I wanted to leave him. My husband is not a human being but a vile animal and his mother are also involved in his every ugly act,” she cried in the video.
“This guy even used to give me drugs and treat me like a beast. I endured all this because if I divorced him, where would I go? This person has been beating me while praying and reciting the Holy Qur’an and I have proof of all these things,” she alleged.
Several cases of violence against women in Pakistan were reported in the past months, including Noor Mukadam, daughter of former diplomat.
