Season 4 of “The Umbrella Academy” has come to a close, marking the end of the Hargreeves family’s story. More than five years after the series debuted, the hit show has officially wrapped up.
Based on the comics by Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, the superhero series follows seven super-powered individuals adopted and trained by an eccentric billionaire after his death. Created for Netflix by Steve Blackman and developed by Jeremy Slater, the show centers around a dysfunctional family of adopted siblings who reunite to investigate their father’s death and avert an impending apocalypse. The series, produced by Borderline Entertainment (seasons 1–2), Irish Cowboy (season 3), Dark Horse Entertainment, and Universal Content Productions, was rated TV-14 for the first two seasons and TV-MA for the third and fourth seasons.

Will there be season 5?
Season 4, which premiered on Netflix on August 8, marks the end of the series. The show was confirmed to end with this season as early as 2022, shortly after Season 3 was released. The final season has been promoted as “The Final Season” and “The Final Timeline” in its advertising and recent trailer.
