Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ is scheduled to release worldwide in theaters on March 30, 2025, coinciding with Eidul Fitr 2025. However, there’s no official confirmation on whether it will have an OTT release or not.
Besides Salman Khan, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal and Sharman Joshi. It is directed by A R Murugadoss.
Given the trend of recent Bollywood films, it’s likely that ‘Sikandar’ might be available on OTT platforms after its theatrical run, but we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.
The makers are confident that it’s the correct day for release. Sunday will be a big holiday, more so in Maharashtra as Gudi Padwa falls on that day.
Meanwhile, Ramzan Eid will be celebrated on Monday, March 31. There’ll be a post-Eid holiday effect on Tuesday, April 1 and Wednesday, April 2 in many centres as well.
The collections will again see a jump from Friday, April 4. Hence, until Sunday, April 6, the film’s collections will remain very strong.”
Reports suggest that Sikandar’s trailer will be unveiled this weekend. A grand promotional event is also planned to boost excitement before the release.
