Slice-of-life, coming-of-age, rom-com, couples therapy, love triangle, teenage woes, mid-life crisis, Anurag Basu’s “Metro… In Dino” has a bit of everything. Not, to mention, it has thematic similarities with its spiritual predecessor “Life in a Metro”, released in 2007.
Releasing on July 4, “Metro… In Dino” features an ensemble cast including Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Pangaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Neena Gupta, and Anupam Kher.
The film is set against the backdrop of colorful landscapes of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Bangalore, and weaves together several stories that illustrate the complexities of modern relationships.
The story highlights themes like broken relationships, emotional exhaustion, changing sexual identities, and toxic relationships, reflecting the real and understandable aspects of urban life.

OTT Release Details:
Although, the official streaming date of the film has not been announced yet, it will be released on Netflix after its theatrical run. The official poster of the film confirms the partnership with Netflix.
Bollywood flicks usually hit OTT platforms within 60 days of cinema release, so the digital release of “Metro… In Dino” is expected in late August or early September.
