KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has assured Pakistan People’s Party that it will continue to play positive role while being in the Shehbaz-led government.
The assurance was giving in a meeting that took place MQM-P Convenor Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and PPP Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari here in Islamabad on Monday.

According to reports gathered by MM News, both the leaders held in-depth discussions on different issues including the political situation prevailing in the mega city of Karachi and the forthcoming local body elections.
Speaking on this occasion, Asif Zardari was quoted as saying that the national government was taking along all the allies which was its success. In response, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said the MQM-Pakistan will continue to play its positive role in the government.
The meeting was also attended by Federal Minister Aminul Haq, Sadiq Iftikhar, Dr Asim and Senator Salim Mandviwala
