Bollywood actress Vidya Balan is celebrating the massive success of her new film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, where she reprised her role as Manjulika after 17 years, following her appearance in the first film of the same series. She has declared the new film as her biggest success.
According to an Indian Express report, Vidya Balan recently shared how the overwhelming love she received was beyond her expectations, while her film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has done exceptionally well at the box office, grossing nearly 200 crores in India.
“I’m feeling better than I ever imagined. After 17 years, I never thought I would return to Bhool Bhulaiyaa and bring Manjulika back. The love for it has been incredible, and I am so thrilled that the film is doing so well,” says Vidya. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’s success has been a much-needed breakthrough after a long time for the actress.
There is no doubt about Vidya Balan’s performances being widely praised. Many of her films after the pandemic failed to make a strong impact, but with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Vidya has made a triumphant comeback, calling it her biggest hit yet. “This is the biggest for me. Can it get any better?” she asks.
According to Indian media, one of the highlights for Vidya Balan was the chance to share the screen with legendary dancer Madhuri Dixit. She humbly admits, “I don’t see myself as a dancer, but when you’re dancing with Madhuri Dixit, you have to work doubly hard. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I was determined to enjoy it, even though I knew I couldn’t match up to her.”
