After days of boycott calls for Bollywood films, the latest hashtag on Twitter is ‘Boycott Bollywood forever due to multiple reasons.
Social media users have called for the boycott of Bollywood films on Twitter over a host of reasons: for instance continuous insult of their Idols, and nepotism.
Laal Singh Chaddha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan saw a massive boycott push against it, Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming starrer Vikram Vedha, and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmāstra.

Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming Pathaan is also facing similar outrage. Be it over the portrayal of religious figures or historical events, past comments made by actors, or for allegedly plagiarising from other films, the boycott calls against Bollywood are getting harsher by the day.
