Tamil actor and composer Vijay Antony’s daughter, Meera, has died by suicide in Chennai.

Who is Vijay Antony?
He is a popular composer, predominantly working in Tamil cinema. After being a composer for several years, he also became a producer, actor, lyricist, editor, audio engineer, and director.
He is married to Fathima Vijay Antony, who also takes care of their own production house. Vijay and Fathima are parents to two daughters, Meera and Lara.

Meera was 16 years 16-year-old teenager studying at a popular school in Chennai.
Suicide
The 16-year-old died by suicide in the wee hours of September 19 at her residence in Chennai at around 3 a.m.
According to reports, Meera was taken to a private hospital after being found hanging at her residence. The doctors, who examined her, declared her dead.
Possible reasons for suicide
According to reports, she was under pressure and was getting treatment for the same. Moreover, unconfirmed reports suggest that the girl was battling depression.
