Pakistani actress Alizeh Shah, known for her innocent looks and bold personality, lashed out at former actress Zarnish Khan after she apologized for calling herself rude.
According to national media, this dispute between Alizeh Shah and Zarnish Khan dates back almost 2 years. In 2023, a clip from an interview given by Zarnish Khan to Wajahat Rauf went viral on social media, in which she was seen expressing her thoughts about Alizeh Shah in response to a question from the host.
The host asked, “If there is a competition of rudeness, who would win?” To this, Zarnish Khan said she felt that if there were any competition of rudeness, Alizeh Shah would win.
After Zarnish Khan’s statement went viral, Alizeh Shah, instead of responding directly, shared a quote from Mufti Menk: “Do not expect people to understand you, they only know how to talk and judge, as if they know everything about what you are going through. But no one can understand because no one puts themselves in someone else’s shoes. So when you hear negative comments from people, do not be disappointed, Allah knows, just smile and move on.”
Recently, Zarnish Khan, realizing her mistake, decided to apologize to Alizeh Shah. She wrote in a private message sent to Alizeh Shah on Instagram: “Hello Alizeh, I know this might be unexpected for you, but I deeply regret my foolish statement on the Voice Over Man show. Please forgive me, and if you want, I am ready to apologize publicly. I also want to apologize to your mother, as she must have been really hurt by my words. I am truly sorry, I spoke without thinking. You are very dear to me, and I respect you a lot. Stay happy, always.”
However, Alizeh Shah refused to accept Zarnish Khan’s apology and responded harshly to her message, even sharing a screenshot of the exchange on her Instagram story.
Alizeh Shah wrote: “An apology will not compensate for the harm you caused. I will not forgive you. What did I tell you? Fix your hair so you look better on screen? When my mother used to feed me, she would feed you with her own hands too. I never wronged you or was rude to you. You were not being paid to speak against me on the show, but you still did. God sees everything.”
She further wrote: “The day Zarnish gave that statement, my mother called her in tears and asked why she had said such things about me. Zarnish promised to make a video and tell the truth, but just 30 minutes later, she blocked my mother.”
Later, Alizeh Shah shared another story in which she wrote: “Being a senior and going on a show to complain and lie, is that professionalism?”
