New revelations have emerged in the case of Humaira Asghar, who was found dead in an apartment in Defence Phase 6 on July 8, as reported by national media on Monday.
Stylist Danish Maqsood, who had claimed the actress had been missing for 9 months, made a shocking statement: “There was activity on the actress’s phone after February 5. During that time, not only was the WhatsApp display picture (DP) removed, but her ‘last seen’ status was also disabled.”
Danish Maqsood told Geo News, “My last conversation with Humaira was on October 2, but her WhatsApp last seen showed October 7, 2024. After that, I tried multiple times to contact her, making calls and sending messages that were never read.”
According to Danish Maqsood, “When no news about Humaira Asghar surfaced for months, I decided to post about her disappearance on social media. Before posting, I tried once more to reach her on her phone number, but when that failed, I shared the post on social media on February 5.”

On the other hand, DIG South Asad Raza stated, “We have contacted stylist Danish, collected all the screenshots from him, and started further investigation based on that.”

Humaira Asghar’s body was found on July 8 in an apartment in Ittehad Commercial. It was discovered when the landlord, after not receiving rent payments, approached the court. A court bailiff arrived at the apartment, and when the door wasn’t opened, it was broken down, revealing the actress’s body.
The initial post-mortem report stated that the body was in the final stage of decomposition, indicating that her death occurred around 8 months ago. No evidence of poisoning was found during the chemical analysis.
