The owner of Cola Next was reportedly abducted by unknown individuals, according to his family sources.
Zulfiqar Ahmed, the owner of Cola Next, was kidnapped on Tuesday evening by masked armed men in a double-cabin vehicle from Mauripur Road. The family has approached the Sindh High Court.
According to the application moved by the group’s manager, Imran, Mr. Zulfiqar Ahmed’s car was stopped by a black Vigo in front of the police training center on Mauripur. The masked men forcibly took the owner of Cola Next and his friend Qaiser out of the car and made them sit in the Vigo at gunpoint.
After traveling a short distance, the abductors released Zulfiqar Ahmed’s friend Qaiser from the vehicle but did not let Zulfiqar Ahmed go.
A report of Zulfiqar Ahmed’s abduction was submitted at the Kalri Police Station, but the police did not register an FIR, prompting the family to approach the court.
It should be noted that Cola Next is part of a major group in Pakistan, Meezan Oil.
