Resilient storyteller Najiba Faiz, whose journey commenced as a child artist on PTV, has overcome the challenges of being born amidst the Afghan war. Seeking refuge in Pakistan, Najiba emerged as a formidable presence in the entertainment industry.
A journalism graduate from Abdul Wali Khan University, she achieved the milestone of becoming the first Pashtoon woman programme manager at AVT Channels. For seven consecutive years, Najiba hosted the “Morning Show” at AVT Khyber, showcasing her multifaceted talents.
Her career showcases versatility as she navigates seamlessly through dramas on Geo TV, Hum TV, ARY Digital, Express Entertainment, and TVOne. Breaking barriers, Najiba made her film debut in the 2008 blockbuster “Khuda k Liye,” portraying a Pashtoon girl.
Beyond borders, her influence extends globally as she has hosted International Musical Concerts in Dubai, India, Malaysia, and London.
