There is a quote: “Friends are the family we choose.” But unfortunately, some people fail to recognise who their true friend is.
The same happened with a girl named Khadija who was kidnapped and tortured and blackmailed by her friend’s father named Sheikh Danish; but why?
Sheikh Danish and his daughter
Danish Ali, who is a resident of Paradise Valley in Rawalpindi, is a businessman and owner of Rawalpindi’s Best Export company. His daughter’s name is Ana Ali.
FIR
A complaint was registered by Khadija, who is a final year student of BDS. In her complaint, she stated that she was friends with Ana Ali since her school days. She often used to visit her house.
Khadija alleged that during these visits the accused Danish Ali started taking interest in her and even formally sent a proposal which she rejected.
Upon the complaint, a case has been registered at the Women Police Station under various sections against the accused. All the accused named in the FIR have been arrested.
Kidnapping
Things got out of hand when Khadija rejected the proposal and Danish began to put pressure on her through his daughter Ana Ali to change her mind and accept the proposal.
However, upon standing by her decision, on August 9, Sheikh Danish Ali kidnapped her along with her brother Hasan Ghafoor Ali, and his friends Malik Ali Awan and Ali Alvi when from their home.
Valuables at home
They entered her bedroom and took an expensive mobile phone, Rs500,000 cash, and two bangles worth Rs450,000.
Torture
Accused Sheikh Danish Ali, his daughter, and Faizan, Shoaib, and Khan Muhammad tortured Khadija and her brother at gunpoint.
The accused then kidnapped her brother and herself and took them to their residence. They compelled Khadija to lick their shoes. Later, Sheikh Ana Ali made a video of her while cutting my hair with scissors on the instruction of accused Sheikh Danish and made the video viral on social media.
Sexual abuse
As per Khadija, Sheikh Danish Ali raped her many times before. He assaulted her physically, mentally, and sexually, and shaved her head and eyebrows.
Stance of Danish
Accused Sheikh Danish had said that he did not know Khadija and he and his family were being blackmailed.
