The recently released Part 2 of “Emily in Paris” Season 4, featuring Episodes 6-10, delivers plenty of drama, high fashion, and an unexpected twist. But will there be a Season 5 of the popular Netflix series? More about that in a bit, but first let’s recap the latest season.
Created by Darren Star, this beloved Netflix romance drama premiered in October 2020 and returned for its fourth season on August 15. Season 4 picks up after the intense finale of Season 3, where Alfie broke up with Emily following Camille’s shocking revelation at the altar that Emily and Gabriel had always been in love. The season ended with a major cliffhanger—Emily discovering that Camille is pregnant with Gabriel’s baby.
Darren Star teased that in Season 4, “Emily finds herself with a busy travel schedule,” he told Netflix’s Tudum. “From the French Alps to the piazzas of Rome, viewers will get to experience stunning new locations through Emily’s eyes.”
Emily in Paris Season 5
At the amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival, Winnie Harlow and Paris Jackson made headlines by auctioning off a walk-on role for a previously unannounced fifth season of Emily in Paris. They also mentioned that Season 5 is expected to begin filming in mid-2025.
However, a source familiar with the situation said that Netflix has not officially greenlit Season 5 yet. According to the amfAR auction website, the walk-on role was offered “Courtesy of Darren Star,” the show’s creator.
