In a blink of an eye, it’s already mid-October! The month with colder nights and is closer to Halloween which also means that Netflix is adding a bunch of new movies and shows.
Here is a list of upcoming new movies and shows fantasy series on Netflix that you can watch:
1) The School for Good and Evil (October 19)
The movie is set in the village of Gavaldon, where two misfits and best friends, Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie), share the unlikeliest of bonds. Sophie, a golden-haired seamstress, dreams of escaping her dreary life to become a princess, while Agatha, with her grim aesthetic and offbeat mother, has the makings of a real witch.
One night under a blood red moon, a powerful force sweeps them away to the School for Good and Evil — where the true stories behind every great fairy tale begin.
2) Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters (October 24)
Netflix’s Mr. Midnight: Beware the Monsters television series, adapted from James Lee’s Mr. Midnight fictional spooky tales first published in 1998. The 13-episode series centers around a group of teenagers fighting to solve a series of strange supernatural occurrences in Tanah Merah town.
It stars Malaysian actor Idan Aedan, local actors Lim Yu-Beng and Chen Yixin, Indonesian actress-model Adinia Wirasti, French actor Maxime Bouttier and many more.
3) 28 Days Haunted (October 21)
The legendary Mexican director brings his highly anticipated anthology series to the streamer in the form of short stories. Expect nightmarish monsters and some awe-inspiring horror.

5) Robbing Mussolini (October 26)
Directed by Renato De Maria, Robbing Mussolini is described as a “true-ish story of a legendary heist,” it will see a group of misfits trying to steal Mussolini’s treasure. Matilda De Angelis and Pietro Castellitto star.
Spotlighting stories based on true events, adaptations from big IPs and “anti-hero narratives,” Andreatta also teased “The Lying Life of Adults,” based on a novel by Elena Ferrante. The series will premiere in November.
6) The Good Nurse (October 26)
‘The Good Nurse’ follows a story of a woman named Amy, played by Jessica Chastain who is suspicious that her colleague Charlie, played by Eddie Redmayne is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths. She decides to risk her own life to uncover the truth in the gripping thriller.
7) Dubai Bling (October 27)
Dubai Bling is dropping on Netflix on Thursday. The reality show is based on the lives of 10 millionaires (with big personalities) in Dubai, which means only one thing… plenty of popcorn-munching drama.
8) If Only (October 28)
If Only tells a story of a businessman (Paul Nicholls) tries to tell his girlfriend (Jennifer Love Hewitt) how he feels about her but fumbles the task, causing her to leave abruptly. She’s killed in a taxi crash shortly after. The next morning he gets a chance to relive the day and possibly change the outcome.
9) The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself (October 28)
The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself is a story of a 16 years old kid Nathan who is the son of the world’s most dangerous wizard.
The objective is to see whether he will continue his father’s terrible path. The line between good and evil is broken as tension rises and Nathan discovers his true identity during the trailer.
10) Inside man (October 31)
Inside Man is a drama-thriller television serial developed by Steven Moffat. The series, consisting of four episodes, premiered on 26 September 2022 and was broadcast on BBC.
