Samsung is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphones in less than a month. Key specifications of the upcoming phones have gradually surfaced in recent months, and additional details about the Galaxy S24 series are emerging, highlighting a more robust design.
Recent reports indicate enhancements in the Night mode for the Ultra model and an AI-optimized 200 MP mode. According to Ice Universe, the algorithm will identify and optimize 12 different object types, enhancing overall image quality.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra will be the only smartphone in the lineup to exclusively use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Qualcomm launched the platform with big promises for AI operations, and it looks like the Ultra will take full advantage of the new features.
According to tipster Ahmed Qwaider, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will feature a titanium frame that makes the phone’s body 56% stronger than Armor Aluminum, which was used in the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The base Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ will likely not get this feature.

Samsung’s upcoming flagship phone will also feature Gorilla Glass Armor for screen protection. This is newer than Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Dynamic AMOLED 2x screen on the Galaxy S24 Ultra reportedly features a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The phone will also feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in most countries worldwide. Samsung is also said to be using a bigger vapor chamber cooling system that keeps the chip 1.9x cooler than its predecessor.
Galaxy S24 Ultra camera specifications
A 200MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 50MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom (10x optical quality zoom with in-sensor crop), and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom are purportedly included in the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s feature set. Like its predecessor, the phone also sports a 12MP front-facing camera. In addition, it has a 5,000mAh battery, 25W rapid wired charging, and LPDDR5X RAM. It is probably going to support 45W rapid charging as well.
