Recreational facilities built along Jeddah’s coastline for tourists
A review of the beautiful coastline in Jeddah shows that recreational facilities have been built along a 9-kilometer coastal strip in the heart of the city for both locals and tourists, providing an attractive environment. The yacht club and Corniche along Jeddah’s scenic shores have become focal points for visitors, offering boats, private yachts, and luxury cruises. People also enjoy fishing on the beautiful blue coast.
Day and night, both local and foreign tourists continue to visit Jeddah’s 9-kilometer coastal strip. Near the coast, on an island in front of the King’s Palace, the world’s tallest fountain—linked to Arab history—adds to the scenic beauty of the area.
Regarding this, Dr. Imad Kashmiri explained that King Fahd had this fountain installed in front of the palace on the island. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, it is the tallest fountain in the world.
