Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal has revealed that Katrina Kaif is very honest in the feedback she gives him on his films, though she does not necessarily expect the same level of bluntness in return.
According to Indian media reports, Vicky Kaushal recently shared in an interaction that Katrina provides him with unfiltered feedback on his performances. However, he admitted that she is not always comfortable receiving such candid critiques from him about her work.
During a recent one-on-one conversation with Kareena Kapoor Khan, hosted by The Hollywood Reporter, Vicky described Katrina as straightforward. He said, “She will say it like it is. But sometimes, she is a little careful because a lot of hard work goes into the project.”
“You have to be sensitive about that, and I can’t just be harsh… So, sometimes she’s sensitive about it, but mostly she’s straightforward, which I actually love,” he added.

After a film screening, he said, “It’s very rare to get that kind of feedback — this was good, this was bad, this you could have done better.”
Vicky also noted that Katrina doesn’t always appreciate blunt feedback from him. Kareena acknowledged that while Vicky values such honesty, she herself wouldn’t want her husband Saif Ali Khan to be so frank about her on-screen performances.
Vicky agreed and shared that Katrina feels the same way about receiving blunt critiques. “But it’s the same here — she wouldn’t want that either. The first step has to be encouragement,” he explained.
