Shahzain Marri, who allegedly tortured a citizen in Karachi’s Boat Basin area along with his colleagues, has been linked to the Mustafa Amir case.
According to Daily Pakistan, authorities have discovered a connection between Shahzain Mari and Sahir Hassan, the son of renowned actor Sajid Hasan, who is currently under arrest for the kidnapping and murder of Mustafa Amir.
During interrogation, the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) revealed that Sajid Hasan’s son provided crucial information linking Shahzain Mari to drug sales and purchases, prompting authorities to expand their investigation.
Sahir Hassan, son of TV star Sajid Hasan, further confirmed Marri’s connection to the drug trade during the interrogation of arrested suspects, raising concerns about his role in the broader criminal network.
It should be noted that Sahir, along with three others, was arrested on February 22 during raids aimed at combating drug sales, purchases, and use. On February 23, a judicial magistrate (south) sent Sahir to police custody on a one-day physical remand in the Mustafa murder case. During the hearing, the investigating officer stated that over 500 grams of drugs were recovered from the suspect’s possession.
Sahir allegedly confessed to supplying drugs for the past two years, a day after his arrest in the Mustafa murder case investigation. He was reportedly found with foreign-branded drugs and had purportedly been involved in drug trafficking, causing a stir within the business community, bureaucracy, and the entertainment industry.
