ISLAMABAD: Former Chief Justice of Pakistan Saqib Nisar is reported to have stated that his WhatsApp has been hacked for some two days, and hasn’t been recovered as yet.

In a statement which went viral on social and electronic media Monday morning, Justice (R) Saqib Nisar was quoted as saying that “those who hacked my WhatsApp will only regret.” He expressed apprehensions that his WhatsApp might be used to fulfill some ‘designs’.

He was also quoted as saying that during the days when he hadn’t become Chief Justice of Pakistan, PMLN Supremo Nawaz Sharif had started telling people in his circles that “this (Saqib Nisar) is my Chief.”

He further said that the one who had been attacking the judiciary these days had remained ‘favorite’ of the same judiciary in the past, adding that except for one case, he always got relief from the courts.

His comments came just a day after Pakistan Democratic Movement President Maulana Fazlur Rehman accused Saqib Nisar and Lt Gen (retd) Faiz Hameed of lobbying for PTI Chairman Imran Khan, demanding of the institutions to take notice of it.
Justice (R) Saqib Nisar was also quoted as saying that on the matter of declaring PTI Chairman as Sadiq and Amin, it was Akram Sheikh’s petition who filed 3 points and sought verdict. He said on those three points “my judgement was still there,” adding that the verdict was politicized later.

He said “I might have given several wrong judgements, but after my death a book will be published carrying all facts, in which I will write down details from 1997 till the date I became Chief Justice.”
Justice (R) Saqib Nisar further said that the only solution to country’s problems lies in general elections. He said he had also foiled plan against holding of elections in 2018 as well, and ex-secretary Election Commission Babar Yaqub was a witness to that development.
