Ramadan is the month of blessings and mercy, and in it, the reward for good deeds is multiplied many times. To earn the maximum reward during this sacred month, if these actions are adopted, the month of Ramadan will truly prove to be full of blessings and mercy, and we will be able to earn the most reward.
Perform the five daily prayers in congregation and try to also pray the voluntary prayers (such as Tahiyyat-ul-Wudu, Ishraq, Chasht, Awwabin, and Tahajjud). Recite the Holy Quran daily, and try to read it with translation and interpretation so that you can understand Allah’s message better.
Fasting is obligatory, but in addition, refrain from backbiting, lying, suspicion, and useless talk so that the true purpose of fasting is achieved. Help the poor, orphans, the needy, and those in need. Arrange for Zakat, Fitrana, and other donations because the reward for every good deed is multiplied in Ramadan.
Make special efforts for Taraweeh and Tahajjud prayers at night because the worship during Ramadan nights has immense reward. Make prayers to Allah for yourself, your loved ones, and the entire Muslim Ummah. Prayers made during Suhoor and Iftar are especially accepted.
In the last ten days of Ramadan, increase your worship and particularly search for Laylat-ul-Qadr on the odd nights, as this night is better than a thousand months. Ramadan is the month that teaches patience, tolerance, and good conduct, so make every effort to treat others with kindness, love, and respect.
Recite “SubhanAllah,” “Alhamdulillah,” “Allahu Akbar,” “La ilaha illallah,” and Durud Sharif daily to purify your heart. Ask Allah for forgiveness for your sins and make a promise to avoid sins in the future. Frequently recite “Astaghfirullaha Rabbi min kulli dhambin wa atubu ilayh.”
The reward for providing Iftar to a fasting person is immense, even if it is just dates and water. Serve your parents, seek their blessings, and treat your relatives kindly because there is great reward in maintaining family ties.
Take special care of those facing financial difficulties and help them so they too can partake in the joys of Ramadan. Perform every good deed and act of worship for the sake of Allah’s pleasure, not for show, because deeds are judged by intentions.
