Actress Sajal Aly has been in the limelight due to her upcoming movie ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’, which is an international project featuring Hollywood and Bollywood actors.
The Alif actress recently talked to the international press and she was asked about her opinion on women in South Asia being pressured by their families for marriage. To which, Sajal openly said that women do get pressed to get married.
The actress’s marriage is very important but women should not make life all about marriage only and should think about their own likes, dislikes and life as well. She also said that marriage should not be made pressured and if it is not working out for you, part ways.

She also advised all the women feeling pressure to get married. She also reiterated that she does not know if a love marriage is better or arranged as she is still too young to have figured out everything. However, marriage is about luck and anything can work out for you in the end, she maintained.
On the work front, Sajal Aly’s What’s Love Got to Do with It? was screened at the Red Sea Film as well as had a premiere in London. It is a 2022 British romantic comedy movie directed by Shekhar Kapur, from a screenplay by Jemima Khan.
The movie stars Lily James, Shazad Latif, Shabana Azmi, Emma Thompson, Sajal Aly, Oliver Chris, Asim Chaudhry, and Jeff Mirza. The movie is scheduled to be released on 24th February 2023.
