KARACHI: West Indies cricket team has reached Sindh capital to play three matches of T20 and three ODI matches.
Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board had announced that the West Indies cricket team would arrive in Pakistan in December to play three T20 and three ODI matches. All these matches would be played at the National Stadium Karachi from 13th to 22nd December.
This will be the first tour of the West Indies to Pakistan after April 2018. The visiting team came to Pakistan in 2018 to play three T20 International matches. The West Indies last played an ODI series on Pakistani soil in 2006.
Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Rameez Raja has said that after the cancellation of the home series in September-October, now the tour of West Indies in December will provide an opportunity to the fans in Pakistan to watch thrilling and exciting cricket matches.
Chairman PCB said that West Indies has always been the favorite team of Pakistan cricket fans. “I hope that NCOC will cooperate with us for this series by allowing spectators to enter the stadium,” he added.
