ISLAMABAD: Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar has said that wedding halls and restaurants are becoming major centres for the spread of the coronavirus.
A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) was held under the chairmanship of the federal minister. The NCOC was briefed on the spread of the virus across the country. It was said in the briefing given to the meeting that due to the non-implementation of social distance, the coronavirus is spreading again.
Asad Umar said that measures are very important to prevent the spread of diseases and the use of masks is the most important in preventing the spread of the coronavirus.
He said that the implementation of coronavirus SOPS could prevent the spread of the virus in winter. “Wedding halls and restaurants are becoming major centers of Corona expansion,” the minister maintained.
Educational institutions were commended by the NCOC for implementing coronavirus SOPs. It may be recalled that on Monday, at least four people died in Pakistan due to coronavirus.
