In a shocking incident in Peru, a man miraculously survived being run over by a train while sleeping on railroads, according to local authorities.
Surveillance footage captured the moment when a slow-moving cargo train made contact with the man, who remained motionless before getting up shortly after the incident in Lima.
General Javier Avalos, a local official, stated that the man, identified as 28-year-old Juan Carlos Tello, appeared to be intoxicated and had fallen asleep on the tracks, unaware of the approaching train. Despite the severity of the situation, Tello sustained only minor injuries to his left arm and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment.

The train, en route to the Peruvian Andes, stopped quickly after striking Tello. Footage released by the city showed the locomotive dragging him for several meters before coming to a halt.
This incident highlights the dangers of the train line, where accidents are not uncommon. In August 2024, a young man wearing headphones tragically lost his life after being struck by a cargo train while attempting to cross the tracks.
