A video has surfaced showing the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Salami, giving the order for missile strikes on Israel.
In the video, General Salami is seen speaking on the phone with the commander of the Revolutionary Guard’s Aerospace Force, General Hajizadeh, instructing him to launch the missiles.
Salami stated that the attack was in retaliation for the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh and Hassan Nasrallah. Later, he is also seen talking to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the phone.
It is noteworthy that Iran fired 190 ballistic missiles at Israel the previous day. The Revolutionary Guard claims that 90% of the missiles successfully hit their targets.
On the other hand, Israeli officials, with support from the U.S., stated that most of the missiles were intercepted, while some landed without causing any casualties.
Following the attack, President Pezeshkian declared that Iran had delivered a decisive response to Zionist aggression, while Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei warned that the next attack on Israel would be even more painful.
