WASHINGTON: Spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, has said that while we are aware of the economic challenges and want to see Pakistan in a better position.
According to the details, during the press briefing, the spokesperson of the US State Department said that the US supports Pakistan wherever possible. “We are familiar with the economic changes of Pakistan,” Ned Price said.
During the press briefing, US State Department spokesperson Ned Price said, “We want to see Pakistan in a better economic position. Know that Pakistan is in touch with international economic institutions.”

This statement of the spokesperson of the US Department of State came at a time when the World Bank delayed the approval of a loan of 1 billion 10 million dollars for Pakistan until the next financial year, which makes the economic situation difficult.
Pakistan’s foreign exchange reserves are at the lowest level of $4 billion while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is tasking the economic team to improve the value of the rupee. Inflation and unemployment are increasing gradually.
It should be remembered that earlier the spokesperson of the US State Department, Ned Price, praised Pakistan’s role in the war against terrorism and said that Pakistan has suffered heavy casualties from terrorism.
