Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli who recently became the first Asian celebrity to have 100 million followers on Instagram has mentioned his wife Anushka Sharma in his journey to the milestone.
Kohli is ranked number six on the list of celebrities in the world with more than 100 million followers. The cricketer took to Instagram and thanked everyone for being a part of his journey.

However, Virat posted a video highlighting some of his favorite posts that also marked important landmarks in his life, on the social media platform which begins with, “Milestone achieved together” and was captioned as “You have made this journey beautiful. Feeling blessed and grateful for all the love. Thank you. 100 million #instafam.”
Virat’s wife and life, Anushka Sharma also received a special mention with a zoom-in on their picture which is set as his display on Instagram. Kohli is also the fourth most followed sportsperson on Instagram.
Moreover, Portuguese football star Cristiano Ronaldo still tops the chart with 266 million followers with singer Ariana Grande standing second with 224 million followers. The next best sports personality is Barcelona captain Lionel Messi with 187 million followers.

Kohli is currently in Ahmedabad with the Indian cricket team as they gear up for the fourth and final Test against England, beginning on 4th March. Kohli, who recently became the most successful Indian skipper on home soil, has been training hard ahead of the series-deciding match.
