MUMBAI: Congratulations are in order as Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma and husband Virat Kohli just became proud parents to a beautiful baby girl.
The sportsman took to social media to share that the couple welcomed their first child on Monday afternoon. He added that “Anushka and the baby are both healthy.”
After Virat shared the statement on social media, congratulatory messages began to pour in for the couple. Meanwhile, some social media users started predicting the name of the newborn and a few even offered rather hilarious suggestions.

However, according to Indian media reports, Virat and Anushka have given a very unique name to their baby girl. The star couple has named their daughter “ANVI”.
A source has revealed to the entertainment portal that they have entered their daughter’s name as Anvi in the hospital register. While an official announcement about the same is still awaited.
Sports stars like badminton player Saina Nehwal and English international cricketer Alexandra Hartley, and Bookworm founder Manish Sharma were one of the first few personalities to wish the new parents.
