ISLAMABAD: Several tourists, who were stranded in Murree due to a snowstorm, have been killed due to lack of oxygen.
The videos that have been surfacing online on social media, show vehicles being trapped in the snow due to snowfall in Murree, while in many videos people were seen dead in the car. As per reports, 19 people have died in the car.
It should be noted that according to the district administration Rawalpindi, more than 27,000 vehicles have entered Murree so far and more vehicles are waiting to enter Murree. More tourists will not be allowed to enter Murree.

In this regard, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad wrote that only in case of extreme emergency, the citizens will be allowed to travel to Murreeaand Galyat. The interior minister said that the decision was taken to provide convenience to the tourists returning from Murree and Galya.
