Meghan Markle has stirred controversy once again after sharing a video of herself and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room during her pregnancy with Princess Lilibet.
According to details, the clip, posted by the Duchess of Sussex, has drawn criticism online. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams labeled the couple’s actions as “unroyal.”
In the video, Meghan—dressed in a black nightgown—is seen twerking while Prince Harry, wearing jeans and a grey hoodie, joins in. In her caption, Meghan joked that after trying spicy food, walking, and acupuncture to induce labor, dancing was their final option.

“Four years ago today, this also happened,” she wrote. “Both of our children were a week overdue, so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work—there was only one thing left to do!”
Fitzwilliams told The Express he initially thought the video was a parody. “When I first saw the video of a heavily pregnant Meghan and Harry twerking, I assumed her Instagram had been hacked. I thought it was a spoof,” he said.
He noted the footage was filmed in a labor ward four years ago. “Meghan is free to share what she chooses, but the public is also free to judge,” he added. “Watching this, I couldn’t help but wonder—how much less royal can you get? She was clearly a poor fit for royal life, and it didn’t take long for that to become apparent.”
