The streets of Pakistan are becoming increasingly unsafe for women, with a noticeable rise in harassment and assault cases in recent months. In another disturbing incident, a woman was sexually harassed by a man on a motorcycle in Karachi on Saturday.
The incident occurred on August 12 in the Muslim Town area of North Karachi. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage of the event has since gone viral on social media.
The video shows a man inappropriately touching a woman wearing a headscarf as she walks through a quiet neighborhood. The harasser’s face is clearly visible in the footage, and he quickly fled the scene after committing the crime.
The video also captures a young child sitting on a motorcycle next to the suspect. However, the victim has not yet contacted the authorities to initiate a formal investigation.
