RIYADH: Videos of Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo dancing with a traditional dress and a sword on the foundation day of Saudi Arabia have become an adornment on social media.
Ronaldo, who represents Al-Nasr Football Club, took to Twitter and shared a video in which he is seen dancing with a sword while wearing a traditional dress on the occasion of the foundation day of Saudi Arabia.

Star footballer wrote Happy Foundation Day to Saudi Arabia! Attending the celebration was a unique experience. It should be noted that the Foundation Day of Saudi Arabia is celebrated on February 22 every year in memory of the founder of the country, Imam Muhammad bin Saud, in 1727. It was declared a national holiday last year after the royal decree of King Salman.
The Portuguese striker joined the Saudi football club Al-Nasr this year, after which he moved to Saudi Arabia with his family.
