Veteran actress Durdana Butt, who was hospitalised after her health condition deteriorated, has passed away.
On 2nd August, Durdana Butt was hospitalised after her health detoriated in Karachi. In this regard, actor Khalid Malik on his Instagram post shared a throwback photo of the actress and wrote, “Please pray for her health. The sweetest Durdana Butt apa is on the ventilator.”

Durdana Butt was born in Lahore and started acting during the 60’s and since then. She was featured in many Pakistani drama serials and some of her remarkable performances were from PTV Network’s Aangan Terha as Sultana in the late 1980’s and Tanhaiyaan as Bibi in 1985.
Durdana appeared on comedy sitcom ‘Dugdugi’, ‘Phir Chand Pe Dastak’, ‘Mera Naseeb’ as the aunt of the protagonist Syra Yousuf, ‘Naugar Ke Aage Chakar’ and ‘Fifty Fifty’.

Today, Khalid posted sad news about her demise and wrote, “Durdana (dodi) apa has transitioned from this realm back to her Creator. Inna lillahi wa inna illahi rajioon.”
