KARACHI: Vice-Chancellors of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana and Lyari University have been sent on forced leave, while inquiry launched against the Vice-Chancellors of both the universities.
The development follows after the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the mysterious death of two female students in Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University Larkana and alleged misbehave of Lyari University VC with a female MPA.
On the directive of Sindh Chief Minister, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Anila Rehman has been sent on forced leave and temporary charge of Benazir Bhutto University Larkana has been handed over to Dr Hakim Abro.
It may be noted that students Dr Noshin Kazmi and Nimrata Kumari were mysteriously found dead at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Medical University, which was declared suicide.
A few days ago, in the DNA report of both, the students pointed out the same accused to be involved. On the other hand, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Lyari VC Akhtar Baloch was also sent on forced leave. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon has been given a charge.
VC Akhtar Baloch is accused of harassing a member of Sindh Assembly.

A committee under the head of Dow University Vice-Chancellor Saeed Qureshi has set up, which will submit its report to the Sindh CM within 45 days.
