Writer-turned-host Vasay Chaudhry has issued a public apology to overseas Pakistanis over inappropriate remarks passed by one of his guests in his comedy show ‘Mazaaq Raat’.
Recently a video clip from the Dunya News comedy show ‘Mazak Raat’ went viral all over the internet in which the guest named Sara Neelum, and one of the comedians, Qiaser Piya was seen making fun of overseas Pakistanis for pretending to be well-established and settled abroad while actually they wash toilets over there.
These two idiots made fun of the overseas Pakistanis that they clean toilets and then show off over here. This campaign against overseas is just disgusting which must end. Their insensitive remarks triggered many social media users who started bashing the guests and the makers of the show. Later, Chaudhry publically apologised on behalf of ‘Mazaq raat’ team and he called the model’s comment ‘stupid’, ‘vile’ and ‘ridiculous’.

He further said that a formal apology will be aired in tonight’s episode. “However, I wanted to personally apologise to all the Pakistanis living abroad. We Love you, even though you might not feel the same at this point..,” he added.
