American travel blogger Drew Binsky was left surprised by the composure and calmness of the Pakistani public amid heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
Drew’s visit to Pakistan was unexpectedly prolonged due to the suspension of flight operations during the escalation between the two countries.
He shared a video from Pakistan on Instagram, the photo and video-sharing platform.
In the video, Binsky stated, “I’m currently stuck in Pakistan because airports have been closed due to the ongoing tensions with India.”
He added that many people were reaching out to check on his well-being. “I want to let everyone know that I’m completely safe,” he assured.

Drew Binsky revealed that he is currently in the northern regions of Pakistan, near Kashmir — an area that often garners international media attention during times of conflict.
He observed that people in the region were holding rallies in solidarity with the military, which is committed to safeguarding the country.
“What’s truly surprising,” he said, “is that despite the tense situation, the Pakistani people appear very relaxed and peaceful. Everyone is carrying on with their normal lives — shops are open, children are going to school just like any other day.”
