Gold rates in Pakistan have witnessed a significant surge in the last 10 months while the upward trend of the precious metal is continuing. Gold rates are changing in the country daily. In the last 10 months sometime the prices of the yellow metal also witnessed a downtrend but overall it gained a huge rise in the mentioned period.
On the first of January 2024, the rate was Rs. 219,200 per tola for 24-karat gold and Rs. 172,268 per 10 grams for 22-karat gold. Today on October 21, the rate for per tola of 24 karat gold stands at 281,800 while the rate of 22 karat 10 grams stands at 221,465. This means the gold prices have witnessed a huge Rs. 62,000 rise in the last 10 months.
