Under-23 World Squash Champion Noor Zaman returned to Pakistan to a hero’s welcome, with celebrations marking his triumphant homecoming, as reported by national media.
Noor Zaman stated that he is grateful to Allah for winning the World Squash Champion trophy, adding that it was not just his success but a victory for the entire nation. The world champion also thanked the Pakistan Squash Federation.
The young player, who once again raised Pakistan’s flag high in the world of squash, returned to Peshawar after winning the Under-23 World Squash Championship.
He was given a warm and grand welcome upon his arrival in Peshawar. A special ceremony in his honor was organized at the PAF Squash Complex in Peshawar, where legendary squash players Jahangir Khan and Qamar Zaman personally welcomed him.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Noor Zaman said, “First of all, I thank Allah, who blessed me with the honor of becoming the under-23 champion for Pakistan. This is not only my success but also the success of the entire nation.” Noor Zaman was garlanded with flowers and honored as a national hero with beautiful words of tribute.
