Pakistan’s legendary comedian Umer Sharif has just been issued a visa to travel to the US for medical treatment.
The news was confirmed by Administrator KMC and Advisor to CM Sindh on Law Barrister Murtaza Wahab on his official Twitter account.

He while sharing the news also thanked the US Consulate for the support extended. “Even happier to inform that visa has been issued just now. Thank u to the team at US Consulate for the support extended,” he posted.

Earlier on 15th September, the minister tweeted and informed that the visa interviews of Sharif’s family had taken place already. “Very grateful to US consulate for exempting the presence of Umer Sharif for issuance of visa,” he tweeted.
It should be noted that Umer Sharif has been ill for some time and his pictures have been circulating on social media for the past several days. Well-known TV and stage actor and comedian Umer Sharif have been absent from the showbiz industry for some time due to illness.
