Legendary comedian Umer Shareef, who was missing from the screen for a very long time due to health reasons, has opened up about marrying thrice.
He was recently invited in a morning show, where he talked about his life struggles, journey in the industry and insides from his personal life. He also talked about marrying thrice and what compelled him to do so.
According to Umer Shareef , he remained completely honest about his three marriages. He also claimed that he does not regret any of his decisions.
The Bakra Qiston Par actor revealed that his first marriage was an arranged one set by his mother who selected Deeba (first wife) for him. “She was my neighbor and my mother really liked her for her simplicity,” he shared.
He also revealed that he has three children from his first wife including two sons and one daughter. “I have never complained to my wives and have supported them throughout. I am a bit short-tempered but I never elongate fights with my wives,” said Shareef.
After a few years, Umer Shareef married another woman Shakeela Qureshi who who was a film and theatre actress by profession. However, due to differences between the two, the marriage was called off after three years.
The third time, Sharif married theatre actor Zareen who left acting after her marriage. According to Sharif, his third wife is an excellent cook.
